After 14 years of selling scythes I am passing the business on to my old friend John Valentine of Paraparaumu. Affective this winter.
I was determined that if I passed the business on it would be to someone who is passionate about the tool. Someone who is totally competent in using it and teaching the skills of mowing with it.
That person is John Valentine. (He comes with the added bonus of being at least slightly computer literate. So things may improve on the website; No pressure)
John is an old friend, and for years we ran workshops here in the top of the South before he moved to the Kapiti Coast.
I'll still be about in the summer. Mowing with scythes instead of typing about them, and doing the odd workshop as a good excuse for a road-trip.
