The 55 cm scythe comes with a snath made of ash wood by Fux in Austria. I have them in two sizes to suit the height of the scythe user. (I will establish what size snath you need after you place your order.) They are also adjustable to seven places on each grip for finer detail.

The 55cm Flower Blade is good for around the tight spots, and those rank clumps of grass late in the season. Also the best blade to learn on. Ideal for trimming around the orchard trees and along the fence-line. I call it the "trimming" blade.

The 55 cm Flower blade is a good companion the the 75 cm Black blade; A good combination for trimming around the obstacles, and bringing in the hay.
