This small hooked knife fits on the snath between the blade and the snath inside the attachment ring and extends out to the right away from the blade. It is used for hooking around individual stems when mowing tangled and vined vegetation. Mostly used with the Posthorn blade on the metal snath but can be used on the Bush blade on the wooden snath.
