The Mailander Green Dragon whetstone is 300grit, just like the old Bregenzer but larger (24cm) and with a better finish. Good grain for the more fibrous vegetation and for the learner to bring the edge up quick.
Also good to bring a blunt edge back, to finish off with the finer Rozsutec stone in the lush green grass of Spring.
